A few changes are coming to the popular streaming platform. We recently learned of the possibility that they may ban using shared accounts on their service to watch sporting events. But it seems that the company wants to follow in the footsteps of other VOD services: You will be able to share a DAZN account, but paying a higher subscription.
We know that the purchase of the LaLiga broadcasting rights for the next five seasons has caused an inevitable price increase. And the problem was that sooner rather than later the prices of DAZN Italy and DAZN Germany will arrive, with a subscription that will become 30 euros per month.
We have told you a trick to avoid paying this increase, simply by buying a DAZN coupon at its original price of 99 euros. And now we see that, at least you can share accounts.
The price increase on DAZN will be gradual
In the image that heads these lines we can see the price that DAZN will end up having, although at the moment they have not made an excessively high rise. At the moment, the streaming platform has informed its clients about a 30% increase in its quota and that it will become effective at the end of this month.
In this way, heThe monthly fee goes from the current €9.99 to €12.99. This figure would already begin to be charged in the invoice corresponding to April 17. What’s more, If you want to hire the annual plan, the fee goes from €99.99 to €129.99.
A much lower figure than what we have seen in Germany and Italy, but which will inevitably reach our country. Although it is still the subscription model that would allow sharing a DAZN account legally… Or simply this rate of 12.99 euros will be for users who do not want to have LaLiga and prefer to watch Formula 1 and MotoGP.
Sharing DAZN account will be possible legally
According to the data handled by the platform, 20% of users do not hesitate when it comes to share your DAZN account to lower costs. And the company knows that it is a very lucrative business model, in addition to the loss of customers that would mean prohibiting account sharing on its service.
So they have not hesitated to offer an option that will allow more than one display simultaneously, although at a higher price. for now, DAZN continues to allow two views simultaneously, although he is already preparing a new package related to LaLiga that will have a much higher price. Surely the 30 euros per month that we saw at the time.
Regarding the new system for share account on DAZN, at the moment we do not have more data, so we will have to see if it follows in the footsteps of Netflix offering different resolutions so that 2 or more users (probably with a limit of 4 clients) can share a single account so that it remains viable to see the soccer. Because few users are going to be willing to pay 30 euros a month to watch LaLiga…
