Zscaler has appointed Raquel Hernández González as the new regional director for Spain and Portugal with the mission of lead the development and consolidation of the company’s business and respond to the growing demand for Zero Trust and SSE architecture solutions from Spanish and Portuguese organizations. Until now, Hernández has held the responsibility of regional sales manager for Spain.
“Raquel has the appropriate profile to promote Zscaler’s business in Spain and Portugal”, assured Emmanuel Serrurier, regional senior vice president for southern Europe. “His deep knowledge of the local business fabric, forged over more than 20 years in large multinationals, as well as the excellent performance since joining Zscaler, leave no doubt that he is the right person to implement the company’s successful strategy. ”.
Prior to joining Zscaler in March 2021, among other responsibilities, Hernández worked for Gartner and Repsol performing various national and international functions and promoting and coordinating technology initiatives for promote the digital transformation of companies.
An industrial engineer from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and a graduate in Business Management and Administration from the UNED, Hernández has specialized training in marketing, sales and international business at the EOI (School of Industrial Organization), and completed an Executive Program of Women in Senior Management at ESADE.
