The Chinese brand took advantage of its conference to also lift the veil on the Xiaomi Watch S1, its new connected watch, and to present in detail MIUI 13, its latest Android-based overlay.

However, the manufacturer had another cartridge in reserve: the Xiaomi Buds 3, all new wireless headphones with active noise reduction. As the company clarified, the Buds 3 are positioned directly at the entry level, just below the Redmi Buds 3 Pro launched in August 2021 in France.

On the design side already, the Buds 3 stand out in their predecessor by adopting again a more classic “rod” format, as with the FlipBuds Pro. To ensure optimal sound insulation, the tips are made of silicone. We must of course add to this active noise reduction, a technology that has become essential for wireless headphones.

For the moment, the Xiaomi Buds 3 are announced only in the Chinese market at a price of 649 RMB, i.e. € 90 after conversion. But given the positioning of Buds 3, they should logically be offered at a lower price when they arrive in France.

As a reminder, the Redmi Buds 3 Pro are currently displayed at € 59.99 on the official Xiaomi store. In other words, it’s a safe bet that the price of Buds 3 drops below 50 € in France.
