A cheaper Vision Pro may be launched but at the end of 2025

The Vision Pro that have just been launched, or rather, presented, already have a smaller model. Really this rumor that has now appeared on the networks and specialized media is still a bit far away, because we will not really know if it will happen. The summary is that Apple is likely to launch a model of these virtual reality glasses that is not pro and therefore the costs will be lowered. But that remains to be seen yet.

This rumor is quite daring and above all that it is launched with almost six months left to see the Vision Pro on the market. Let’s remember that Apple presented them on June 5 but they have not yet been seen on the street. For that there is still a long way to go, in fact, there is so much left that it will not be until the beginning of the year 2024 when we could see the Vision Pro on the street. But we already have new rumors and although they are very good news, you have to take them carefully even if it is Mark Gurman who says it.

The creator of the Bloomberg blog affirms that by the end of 2025 Apple is likely to launch a new version of the new virtual reality glasses but with a lower price. Let’s say more affordable for the general public. In fact, these new glasses will not be called Vision Pro, but rather in the name itself it will be seen that they are not so good. It will be called Vision One or simply Apple Vision.

So at least he lets us see it in his latest installment of the Power On blog. Gurman speculates that Apple could replace the twin 4K microLED displays and Apple M2 silicon chip with cheaper alternative components and use fewer cameras.

The question is to know if it interests really buy that model much lower in benefits or stretch the rope a bit and get the Pro model that by then will already have at least one renewal or will be close to one being launched.
