Android smartphones tapped, a bank account scam, this is the recap

Beware of this bank account scam, it has already claimed many victims

If you notice an unknown SEPA direct debit of several hundred euros on your bank statement, you may be the victim of a scam that is currently rife. Entitled “European ENS direct debit”, this debit ranges from 300 to 600 euros. It seems that hackers have managed to get their hands on private banking data, and that they use them to carry out operations at all costs. Good news, however: victims can be reimbursed by their bank… If they don’t take too long to do so, of course.

Qualcomm would be very indiscreet with the data of Android smartphones

According to the manufacturer Nitrokey, smartphones equipped with a Qualcomm processor would be a real nest for spies. The chips of the largest SoC manufacturer in the world would send data to the company’s servers… All this without the knowledge of the user, of course. For its part, Qualcomm defends itself by arguing that everything is in accordance with its own policy. Not sure that this is enough to convince the millions of Android smartphone users around the world, especially when we know that among the data collected, we find in particular the operator used, the IP address and especially the list of applications installed on the device.

You will be able to call via satellite using your current smartphone

This is a great first that has just been achieved by the American telecom giant AT&T and AST SpaceMobile. The duo managed to make a two-way voice call via satellite on a Galaxy S22 Ultra, a smartphone that does not have any such native functionality. In theory, this offers any 4G LTE smartphone to be able to take advantage of it. A real small revolution is preparing on the side of telecoms.
