In addition to the presentations of its new SoC M1 Pro and M1 Max and the MacBook Pro 2021, Apple took the opportunity to revamp your HomePod mini smart home speakers, expanding its current monochrome offer with the arrival of three new colors, following the new palette of its devices.
While not the most significant update, it’s nice to have new color options for those who find white and space gray a bit boring. According to the images shared by Apple, the new colors look quite vibrant, particularly orange and yellow, leaving their blue model with a somewhat more sober and elegant touch.
Although this was not the only announcement. Directly related to these speakers, the Cupertino company has also introduced the Apple Music Voice Plan, a new level of Apple Music subscription designed around the great possibilities of Siri.
The Apple Music Voice Plan offers subscribers access to the service’s 90 million song catalog, tens of thousands of playlists, with hundreds of new playlists for every activity or mood, custom mixes and stations from different music genres, as well as the popular Apple Music Radio service for only 4.99 euros per month.
Apple Music also features hundreds of new playlists for every activity and mood, prepared by Apple experts and optimized for voice control. Subscribers can say “put on the party list,” “put on something quiet,” or even “put on more songs like this” and enjoy a fully personalized music experience. With these new lists, available to all subscribers of any Apple Music plan, the interaction between Apple Music and Siri is even better. Subscribers to the Apple Music Voice Plan will also have access to all Apple Music playlists such as Daily News, Rap Life, Today’s Hits, Today’s Country, VIP List: Pop, R&B Now, and many more.
The Apple Music Voice Plan will be available sometime this fall, without a specific date, while the new HomePod mini will arrive during the month of November.
