The week within Apple TV + has been really lively, since there have been numerous announcements that the Cupertino company has made in relation to its streaming multimedia content service. The first big news is the premiere of a new crime thriller, called “Criminal Record”. It is an eight-episode series starring Oscar winner Peter Capaldi alongside Critics Choice Award nominee Cush Jumbo, who play two detectives in a tug of war over a landmark murder conviction. At the moment, Apple has not revealed the release date.
What does premiere today, Friday, June 24, is the new comedy series called “Loot”. It stars and is produced by Emmy winner Maya Rudolph. This series has up to 10 episodes, the first three being already available for all those who want to start opening their mouths and get impatient to continue knowing everything that this series has to offer in the following chapters. The whole series revolves around Loot, a multimillionaire who has a dream life, however, her husband betrays her after 20 happily married years, which leads her to lose her mind, especially because of what other people and public opinion may think of it.
We continue talking about news, and it is that the Cupertino company has unveiled the teaser of the new miniseries «After the hurricane» which will be released next Friday, August 12. This miniseries is based on the book “Five days at Memorial” by Sheri Fink. It is based on real events, recounting the impact that Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath had on a hospital in the area. It has 8 episodes.
The week is about presentations, since it is also available to all audiences on Trailer for the third season of “Cycles”, the acclaimed British comedy coming to Apple TV+ on Friday, July 22. This has 8 episodes, the first two being available since its premiere. This third season begins with its protagonists, Nikki and Jason as first-time parents of two children whom they are still getting to know.
Obviously, not everything is going to be talking about the Prehistoric Planet, since many other Apple TV + series have new episodes that, surely, all their followers and viewers appreciate, since they already have the guaranteed plan for one of those moments of relaxation that has the weekend.
