Aruba appoints Iker del Fresno as new country manager for Spain

Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company has announced the appointment of Iker del Fresno as the new Country Manager for Spain. In his new role, Iker del Fresno will be in charge of implementing Aruba’s strategy in Spain, a responsibility that has been carried out for 14 years by José Tormo, regional director of the company for southern Europe, who remains in this position .

Spain has become a key market for Aruba’s business, and a region where the company has not stopped growing. My objective is to continue guaranteeing double-digit growth through a policy focused on being technological partners of our clients, facilitating the digital transformation to increase their business with our Edge to Cloud strategy and under a pay-per-use model as a service”, says Iker del Fresno.

With a career spanning more than 18 years in the IT field, Iker del Fresno joined Aruba in 2016 to lead the company’s business in northern Spain, and in 2019 he was appointed Sales Director for Spain, a position he has held until his recent appointment. Before joining Aruba, del Fresno held other positions of responsibility such as Account Manager at Nextiraone – which in 2014 acquired Dimensión Data –, where he has developed a large part of his professional career.

Iker del Fresno is an Industrial Engineer from the University of the Basque Country, and has several professional certifications granted by important companies in the sector.
