Bugatti unveils its first electric scooter

Bugatti caused a sensation during CES, but… not with a car! The French manufacturer has indeed presented an electric scooter with a design that honors the history of the brand.

Ettore Bugatti, founder of the car manufacturer, had a saying: ” Nothing is too good, nothing is too expensive “. This also applies to the brand’s first electric scooter, which for the occasion has partnered with Bytech to design this two-wheeled vehicle.

Peak performance

The scooter is capable of traveling up to 30 km/h with its 700 watt motor. The advertised range is 35 km thanks to the (removable) 10 Ah battery. The vehicle incorporates three driving modes (economy, city and sport) according to its habits. Bugatti explains that the product was designed to be as aerodynamic as possible, with a magnesium alloy chassis to gain lightness.

Nevertheless, despite these efforts, the scooter is approaching 16 kg. Bugatti has integrated an electronic ABS on the rear wheel, which is not so common on this kind of vehicles. The design has of course been particularly meticulous, the rear light projecting the brand’s distinctive “EB” monogram on the ground!

Top performance for this scooter, as well as a design that sets it apart from the classic in the genre. Unfortunately, Bugatti hasn’t announced availability and even less price, but we should probably expect a fairly high price…
