Dejavu Brands Awards will scent entrepreneurship brands

After almost 13 years of experience, Dejavu Brands has launched the first edition of the ‘Dejavu Brands Awards’. With it, the company not only commemorates its origins as a small company that was born from the efforts of a dedicated team, but also gives SMEs the possibility of scent your brand to help boost your venture, working on the fragrance that best fits your image and the values ​​you want to convey to your customers.

The idea of ​​these awards arises to support companies in improving the experience of their customers. Taking into account the entrepreneurial nature of Dejavu Brands since its inception, we seek to invest in other companies so that they grow in terms of loyalty and enhance the customer experience”, he comments Beatriz Acosta, the company’s marketing director. And it is that there are already numerous studies that support that the sense of smell it is the most powerful when it comes to creating and evoking sensations in our brain. Thanks to this, olfactory marketing manages not only to attract customers, but also to increase their loyalty by 30% and, most importantly, their return by 10%.

The ‘Dejavu Brands Awards’ There will be two prizes for the winners of the contest: The first prize will be the aromatization of the physical point of sale of the awarded company for six months. This implementation will be supported by the latest technology in fragrance diffusion, unique in the market. The second prize, for its part, will be the aromatization of online shipments for a year. Both awards include the advice of the perfumer Elise Dion for the work of the fragrance for the brands, through the study of olfactory raw materials; as well as monitoring the impact of the implementation of olfactory marketing in the two businesses.

The ‘Dejavu Brands Awards’ will take place throughout four phases divided into a month:

  • Launch and visibility
  • Trademark registration.
  • Selection of finalists.
  • Selection and communication of winners.

The contest began on April 12, with the registration of candidates. May 3 the presentation of candidacies to the jury will take place, which must meet on May 12 to internally assess each candidacy and select the finalists. May 16 the winners will be announced and, later, the two award-winning companies will have the privilege of visiting the Dejavu Brands laboratory to develop their new corporate fragrance.

As for the jury, which will evaluate each profile presented as a candidate for the Dejavu Brands Awards, it will be made up of experts in different subjects that will give a global and dynamic vision to each evaluation. The prestigious profiles chosen to study the companies are: Marco Mathe CEO and founder of Dejavu Brands, Roberto Sánchez, Rstyle Madrid image consultant, Aitor Espinosa, Digital Manager at MIRTO, María Gracia Espárrago, specialist in Marketing and Corporate Communication at MARSH and Mauricio Aladid, CEO of The Apartment Strategic Communication. This jury must select, from the list of those registered for the awards, 2 brands according to their professional criteria and certain factors such as: the brand’s journey, the look&feel and decoration of the spaces, their social networks, their brand image, the type of business and its trajectory so far, and its marketing and digital strategy.

Once all these factors have been assessed, a count of the most voted will be made to make one last assessment and, finally, the two brands awarded by the ‘Dejavu Brands Awards’ will be named. These two companies will enter the company’s client portfolio, and will custom develop its corporate fragrance to boost its growth by increasing sales and increasing customer loyalty.
