discover everything you can do thanks to Adobe Firefly

Now yes. Adobe presented its platform for generating images with Artificial Intelligence, Firefly, a little over a month ago, a platform that has just been integrated into Photoshop to edit any image in a much simpler and faster way by selecting objects and entering text commands as well as we use any platform to generate images.

Although it is currently in beta, all Adobe Creative Cloud users who have a Photoshop subscription can download this new version and start using the function Generative Filla function that allows us to enter a description of which object or reason we want to show so that the application does the rest.

Generative Fill is also available as a module within the Adobe Firefly beta, a feature that takes care of unite Adobe’s imaging AI, Firefly, with Photoshop to quickly generate content and integrate it into the image we are working on naturally.

The operation of the integration of Firefly with Photoshop is very simple and intuitive and it is not necessary to have knowledge of Photoshop to get the most out of it. If, for example, we have an image of an animal with a background that we don’t quite like, we can select it, click on the Generative Fill function and ask the AI to replace the background with one that suits what we want to show, through the contextual menu that appears next to the object, one of the novelties that Photoshop has received in the last update.

In the image above, we can see the new capabilities of Photoshop’s integration with the image-generative AI in operation and where the image height has been extended by adding almond blossoms, several soap bubbles and a puddle in front of the dog have been added plus a vehicle that is perfectly aligned with the road.

We can also use Photoshop’s AI to remove objects from an image or replace them with others, naturally add objects all in a natural and non-destructive way.

Firefly makes use of Adobe Stock to add new content to Photoshop images based on the prompt that we write, without the need to access this vast library of multimedia content independently and waste time looking for what they think is the best option. The only drawback of this integration is that, as it is a beta phase, for now only works with prompts in Englisha problem that will cease to be when the final version of Photoshop is released with the integration of its Firefly AI.
