Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest will become an anime

During the streaming event “Hiro Mashima Fan Meeting @ Mixalive Tokyo” it was announced that Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest it will become an anime series for TV.

We are talking about the adaptation of the manga of the same name Hiro Mashima And Atsuo Ueda sequel to Fairy Tail.

The announcement was accompanied by a promotional video, while Ueda posted an ad hoc illustration on his Twitter account to celebrate the news.

Kodansha Comics describes the story as follows:

Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Elsa and the entire Fairy Tail guild are back in action!

This time they have decided to take on the “100 Years Quest”, a legendary assignment that no one has ever managed to complete since the founding of the wizarding guilds over a century ago!

A mysterious city, an incomprehensible spirit, a horrible new enemy to face and, of course, a new continent to explore.

When you are with true friends, the adventures never end!

Ueda (Dr. Prisoner, Hajime Shachō Monogatari) launched the official sequel to the original Fairy Tail manga in the app Pocket Magazine Manga by Kodansha on July 25, 2018. Mashima is in charge of the writing and original storyboards for the manga, while the drawings are the work of Ueda.

In Italy both Fairy Tail and Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest are published by Star Comics.
