The launch of a new service, whatever the type, always It usually has some problems associated with it. that were not detected in its testing phase. It is true that some problems are more surprising than others, since shortly after the rigorous tests have been carried out they should have been quickly identified, cases in which a slap on the wrist corresponds which, however, must be adjusted according to of the speed of response to it.

SkyShowtime has not been an exception in this regard., we have already seen some problems, some of which are not new at all, since we have seen them before on other platforms. Thus, on the negative side, it is a bit surprising to see that the platform has not learned from the launch of other services. On the positive side, they have already responded to them, either by solving them or, at least, acknowledging receipt and stating that they have prioritized providing a solution.

First problems with SkyShowtime

The first of the problems experienced by SkyShowtime users was present during the first hours of operation of the service, despite the fact that it did not seem so at first, and that is the high volume of users who wished to register saturated the company’s servers, preventing all users from carrying out this process. In addition, in some cases and despite using the website, the service did not apply the 50% discount on the subscription price, something that several users have denounced on social networks in recent days.

On the other hand, and in this case I am talking about something that I have experienced personally, there are some synchronization problems between audio and video, which creates a nasty lag. My welcome to the platform is consisting, how could it be otherwise, of a new marathon of The Office, but the experience is not turning out to be as satisfactory as I expected, precisely because of that problem. This one, yes, does not seem to be so widespread, but I have found some messages from other users about it.
