Full PC the size of a smartphone

The compact PC sector has evolved a lot in recent years, and thanks to the Morefine M6 we will see the introduction of a new format flat and elongated. This format contrasts with the approach that other manufacturers had followed when using a cubic chassis.

As we can see in the cover image, the Morefine M6 is similar in size to that of a smartphone, although it is thicker due to the cooling needs of its processor, a Intel Celeron N5105. This chip is low-power and low-cost, but thanks to its new architecture, and its jump to the 10nm process, it offers very good performance while maintaining superior efficiency.

To give you an idea, in single-wire performance is at the level of the Intel Core i5 2400 (in Cinebench R23), although in multithreading it is a bit below that. All in all, its results are not bad at all, especially considering that the Intel Celeron N5105 has a consumption of 10 watts (20 watts in turbo mode), and that it works at 2.6 GHz (maximum with all active cores) .

The Morefine M6 has measurements of 155 x 80 x 19mm, and weighs only 195 grams. Its design is quite careful, as we can see in the cover image, although at the moment it is only available in the pre-purchase phase with a price, in its base configuration, of $256, 226 euros.

Despite the small size of the Morefine M6, this equipment has a wide variety of connectors. In the back we can see two USB Type-C connectors, one for power and one fully functional, three USB Type-A Gen2 3.1 connectors, a 3.5 mm jack for sound, a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port and an HDMI 2.0 output.

The rest of its specifications are completed with a Integrated Intel UHD GPU with 24 execution units, 8GB-16GB of LPDDR4 memory, 256GB-512GB-1TB NVMe SSD, and Intel AX201 network card with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 support. The base configuration has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage capacity.
