As you may know, Samsung is one of the first manufacturers to offer the update to Android 12. Indeed, the South Korean firm has started the deployment of its new One UI 4.0 overlay on the Galaxy S21, and has continued since the deployment of the update on other models.

However, the operation is far from going smoothly. Firstly, many problems have been detected on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3. Between concerns of screen flickering, malfunctions in Dark mode, or even a severe decrease in performance, the list of bugs reported is varied. Faced with the worrying situation, Samsung has decided to suspend the deployment of One UI 4.0 on its latest foldable smartphones.

And unfortunately, other bugs visibly affect several high-end devices of the brand, as we learn from our colleagues from the GizChina site. According to testimonials collected by the site and visible on the manufacturer’s forums, it is mainly sound problems. Indeed, several users claim that the sound is strangely flat and lacks bass and mids, especially on smartphones equipped with quality speakers like the Galaxy S20, the Galaxy S21 or the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3. Even the Galaxy A52 5G is concerned.

No solution provided by Samsung for the moment

And if these faults no longer appear once a headset or earphones are connected to the device, a return to factory settings is not enough to correct them. A makeshift solution has been found by users, namely to activate screen recording. However, this manipulation is far from being profitable in the long term, because it consumes a lot of space on your internal memory, and at the same time deactivates the 120 Hz mode available on some of these high-end models.

For the moment, Samsung has not yet officially reacted to the various complaints. In fact, it is impossible to know if the technical teams of the company are working on solving its problems. We already know that some of you are victims of several bugs since the installation of One UI 4.0, like a reader who assured us that he could no longer use the camera of his Galaxy S21 since the update. And you, have you also encountered problems with this update? Tell us in the comments.
