Grupo SPEC and aTurnos join forces in the field of time management, access control and shift planning. OCTIME (company to which Grupo SPEC belongs) is a leader in France, specializing for more than 20 years in planning and time management.
In 2015, it acquired Grupo SPEC, as part of its expansion and growth plan in the time management and access control sector. Now, with the acquisition of aTurnos, based in Castilla-La Mancha, Grupo SPEC and said company combine their knowledge of the sector in order to offer the most advanced solutions in the Human Resources management market.
For its part, Grupo SPEC, the leading Spanish technology company specializing in time control and access solutions in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, was founded in 1978. It currently has more than 3,500 clients in 44 countries around the world. In 2021 it registered a growth of 5% and has exceeded €8,700,000 in turnover. The company, which is made up of almost 100 employees, has seen continuous growth in the number of users of its applications, which now number more than 4 million.
For its part, aTurnos, is a company created in 2011, which develops powerful software for shift planning, with a strong leadership in sectors such as retail or health. The planning solution, thanks to its algorithms, allows its clients to establish the optimal number of personnel needed for a given demand and suggest the right people for each shift based on their skills and experience, being able to apply the legal restrictions of each market or the particular restrictions of each company. aTurnos currently has almost 300,000 active users, including large clients such as Ikea, Media Markt, Quirón Salud, among many others.
