Gurman insists there will be no more Apple events this year

we all know that Mark Gurmann he’s well-informed about everything that’s going on inside Apple Park, and when he says (or rather writes) something, you usually have to listen (well, read) carefully, because his predictions are usually spot on.

A few days ago he published on his blog that surely the Apple event that we saw in September with the presentation of the new iPhone 14 and the Apple Watch would be the last of this year. And yesterday she confirmed it again. According to him, there will be an Apple event to present the new Macs in October. But that does not imply that there are no new releases, which are planned for the coming weeks.

Mark Gurman published yesterday on his blog, as he anticipated a few days ago, that Apple does not plan to hold any more events for the remainder of the year. But he does plan to launch new devices in the coming weeks, but in a discreet way, only with press releases.

Gurman explains that those from Cupertino plan to launch the new models of iPadPro 11 and 12.9 inches, macbook pro 14 and 16 inches and a macmini with M2-series chips in the coming weeks. And although less likely, a new AppleTV updated with A14 processor and 4 GB of RAM before the end of the year.

It is surprising that he has not said anything about an update of the iMac 24 inches. In recent weeks it was rumored that a new 24-inch iMac with M2 processor could be presented at the October event. The truth is that an internal renovation with the current processors of the M2 family would not go badly for the current iMac. We’ll see then…

We will be pending, then, to the news that are falling from Cupertino “so low”. New iPads, new MacBook Pros, a new Mac, maybe a revamped iMac, and not to mention the final release of macOS Ventura….
