Headquarters in Palencia

Zunder was founded in Palenciahometown of its founder and CEO, Daniel Perez in 2017, where it has its headquarters. 60 employees work in it. It also has a subsidiary office in Madrid with 15 workers and another in France with three. In all offices there is a permanent growth of employees and in the neighboring country there is currently an active search for various profiles.

From the moment of its foundation, there was the conviction that, in order to develop high level technology it is not necessary to be located in large cities, but, having the right profiles, what was really important was a good product and service and not from where it is believed.

For this reason, from its foundation, Daniel was clear that Zunder (former EasyCharger) would have its headquarters in Palencia and, in this way, would also generate employment for high-level profiles in an area of Spain which was depopulating.

Currently, all product development comes from the capital of Palencia. From the technological part (which is the main core, since everything else comes from the software), to the management of permits, designs, project and works management, maintenance, customer service, etc. The Madrid office is more administrative, although it has technical profiles to provide support. However, it is a subsidiary of the one in Palencia.

Likewise, the ultra-fast charging operator has the following acknowledgments:

  • 2018 . First prize in the Innovative Product category. Awarded by the local development agency of the Palencia City Council and the Palencia Chamber of Commerce.
  • 2020. EmprendeXXI Awards. The Caixa.
  • 2021. Award at the 2021 Chamber Awards. Awarded by the Palencia Chamber of Commerce.
  • 2022. Second prize in the category of Best Charging Infrastructure. Awarded by AUVE.
  • 2022. First prize in the category “Accessit Training and Employment 2022”. Awarded by the Chambers of Commerce of Spain, Banco Santander and Diario Palentino.

Investment of 300 million euros until 2025

Zunder currently has 150 points of cargo and hopes to reach 4,000 in 2025. In addition, the forecast is, for the same date, to reach 40,000 points managed through the platform.
