Robobo: the Galician educational robot that conquers Amsterdam

“Robobo has already been ‘adopted’ by educational institutions of different kinds, from universities to CEIPs”, explains Fran Bellas, one of the directors of Mint Lab, but it seems to have earned a special space in the heart of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands. This university, one of the most relevant and recognized educational centers from Europe, which began working with Robobo a few years ago, has decided to add a significant number of new units to its stock, becoming one of the great supporters of this invention, which originates from Galicia.

In said university, they use Robobo as a basic educational tool for the master’s subject “Learning Machines”. At the research level, they use it in different projects of the “Computational Intelligence lab”, as Fran Bellas, one of the project directors, explains.
