The Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, celebrated the union of Mexico to the Artemisa Accords in order to carry out a responsible and sustainable space exploration; which has the mission of bringing humans to Moon already Mars.

Ebrard highlights adherence to the program as a benefit for Mexico
During the event of incorporation of our country to the program, the Secretary of Foreign Relations (SRE), Marcelo Ebrard, highlighted the good relationships they have Mexico and state United, same that could be observed during the North American Leaders Summit.

What did Ambassador Ken Salazar say?
For his part, the United States Ambassador to Mexico, Ken Salazar, described the signing of Mexico to the program as historic. He mentioned that now the space reinforces the ties bilateral between both nations.
“The signing of Mexico in the #Artemis Agreements is historic. Not only do geographic, economic and family ties unite us, but also space. We aspire to a new era in our integration, and what better way than to start it together by looking at the Moon”.
What is the Artemis Space Program?
This program, in which they participate state United, the POT and 13 other nations aims to study, investigate and explore space. Likewise, it is contemplated that man will step on our natural satellite again and then start exploring the red planet; this is estimated to occur in 2024.
