LIVALL smart helmets get 4 million euros, in a financing round

Barely a year and a half has passed since the Spanish investor and technology entrepreneur, Manu Marinestablished LIVALL Europe in Spain, in order to promote and expand preventive safety for users of micromobility, with a revolutionary product such as the smart helmet.

While traditional helmets offer passive protection that shields the wearer in the event of an impact, smart helmets like LIVALL they anticipate the accident to save lives. They achieve this thanks to a sophisticated SOS system that works in a very intuitive way. The helmet’s motion sensor detects if the user has fallen and is immobile. LIVALL Smart Case

LIVALL has found a solution for the market: the Smart Case. It is an anti-theft “case” for the helmet that is perfectly integrated on the front of the scooter. The Smart Case prototype has an anchoring system to the mast with a rear hook to hang clothes and objects such as backpacks or bags. In addition, it is waterproof and works with remote opening through a mobile application.

From now on, when a user wants to get around on a scooter, they can open the Smart Case through the app when renting the vehicle. You only have to remove the helmetput it on while moving on your journey and, when you reach your destination, store it back in the anti-theft case designed by LIVALL, so that the next user of the scooter can use it too.

Marín affirms that the introduction of all these technological elements in its products has the objective integrating and improving communication among all the actors in the traffic network, an objective for which LIVALL is forming strategic industrial alliances, such as the Automotive Innovation Lab, where companies such as Iberdrola, Seat, Grupo Antolín or Google work together with LIVALL to create a communication language universal digital, which will be the central piece in the cities of the future as well as v2b (vehicle to bike), car and bicycle communication.
