After a long wait lasting almost 5 years, Kadokawa has released the first trailer of Made in Abyss 2, the second season of the anime series that will arrive on TV in the course of 2022 (hopefully).
The anime, taken from the manga of the same name Akihito Tsukushi, had a huge success with its first season, which aired in the summer of 2017 in Japan (we only arrived at the beginning of this 2021). Now, fans will be able to return to that universe with the second season of the series, the official title of which will be Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun.

In history, a huge chasm called “the Abyss” is the last unexplored place in the world. In its depths strange creatures are hidden, along with precious relics of the past, which fascinate human beings who go to explore it, nicknamed “Cave Raiders”. An orphaned girl named Rico lives in the city of Ōsu on the edge of the Abyss, and dreams of becoming a Cave Raider like her mother, to uncover the secrets of the cave system. One day, Rico begins to explore the chasm and discovers a robot that looks like a child.
