During the annual event for developers of Facebook, Reallity Labs held on October 28, 2021, Mark Zuckemberg, CEO of the social network, revealed the company’s plans to turn it into a metaverse, a “parallel universe” that will be part of our daily lives in the near future.
Broadly speaking, the Facebook metaverse seeks to go one step beyond a social network, to become a virtual space for daily coexistence, in which we carry out practically all our activities, from trying on clothes, playing, having work meetings to a place to live and enjoy concerts and entertainment, without having to leave home.
