One month after launching its flagship 11 series, OnePlus is targeting the mid-range with the launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite phone and Nord Buds 2 wireless earbuds.
OnePlus deviated from its strategy”Never Settleยป in 2020 when it launched its first Nord-branded smartphone. Since then, the company has gone through structural and ideological changes and the diversification of its product range is one of them.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite
The manufacturer had been revealing its main specifications in recent weeks and now we know them in full. It is equipped with a multi-touch screen 6.73 inches with native FHD+ resolution and adaptive refresh rate of 120hz.
Your engine is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, a mid-performance, 5G-enabled chipset, which comes with 8 GB of RAM and storage options of 128 or 256 GB. The rear camera mounts a sensor of colossal dimensions, 108 megapixels, accompanied by another two for depth and 2 MP macro. For selfies it incorporates a 16MP front.
The terminal has a 5,000 mAh battery, which with the 67 W SuperVOOC fast charging technology can recharge it to 80% in just 30 minutes. It includes the OxygenOS 13.1 user interface layer, the latest version built on Android 13 and will go on sale in Europe from April 20 with a price of 329 euro. It will be distributed in two color options, Pastel Lime and Chromatic Gray and can already be reserved in Spain.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2
Along with the mobile, the manufacturer has announced the launch of some wireless headphones. It is one of the accessories that have grown the most in sales in recent years and OnePlus wants part of the cake. Using the same design as previous Nord Buds, they are wireless in-ears with generously sized drivers (12.4mm) and an additional layer of titanium over the diaphragm to refine audio output.
They are designed for a sound profile with dynamic bass boost using the same BassWave algorithm as the more premium and expensive OnePlus Buds Pro 2. They are compatible with Google’s Fast Pair technology and have Bluetooth 5.2. Other noteworthy features are fast charging with the included case, an IP55 rating for protection against light rain and sweat, and support for active noise cancellation that’s not often seen in its price range.
The Nord Buds 2 are now available in white or black finishes and have an official price that is quite contained 69 euro.
