[Le Deal du Jour] After Bouygues Telecom, it is SFR’s turn to slash the prices of its fiber optic subscription. Its offer offers very high-speed Internet access with a TV decoder and a fixed telephone line, for only 10 euros per month for the first year.

SFR reacts to each action of Bouygues Telecom, and vice versa. The latter launched a few days ago an optical fiber offer at 9.99 euros per month, so it was immediately that the red operator decided to offer a similar offer at the same price. However, the SFR Fiber Limited Series subscription has some advantages over its competitor, such as better speeds or the TV decoder included at no extra charge.
The offer is available until August 16, 2021 for new customers, at a price of 9.99 euros per month for the first year, then 38 euros, and with a one-year commitment.

- What is the main difference between the 10 euros Fiber offer from SFR and Bouygues?
The two offers are quite similar, but SFR has the particularity of offering a 4K TV decoder included in the subscription, while Bouygues Telecom does not. At no extra cost with the red operator, you will therefore have access to 160 television channels, with even the possibility of recording your favorite programs for 8 hours. And if that’s not enough, you can still download the many streaming apps available (Netflix, Disney +, MyCanal, etc.).
- Are the speeds offered by SFR interesting?
With its limited series, the operator offers theoretical maximum speeds of 500 Mb / s both for downloading and sending. This is more than enough for a home of several people who connect to the Internet at the same time, where everyone can go about their virtual occupations without being interrupted. You should also know that these speeds are more than 200 Mb / s higher than those of Bouygues Telecom.
The fiber subscription also includes a telephone line with unlimited calls to landlines in France and to more than 100 destinations around the world. That’s not all, because SFR also offers 10 GB of cloud storage for free to store photos, videos or personal documents.
