While OnePlus presented its new OnePlus 10 Pro a few weeks ago, we are still eagerly awaiting Oppo’s high-end smartphone, the Find X5 Pro. At the end of last year, the leaker OnLeaks had already revealed the atypical and disconcerting design of the device, and we had even been able to see stolen photos of the smartphone which confirmed part of the technical sheet.

Now, thanks to leaker Roland Quandt, we know everything about the smartphone. WinFuture has published the first official images of the Find X5 Pro, on which we can see the smartphone in two colors: black and white. The device wallpaper also highlights the new partnership of Oppo with Hasselblad for the photo part, as was already the case on OnePlus smartphones since the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro.

What technical characteristics for the Find X5 Pro?

According to information from WinFuture, Oppo’s Find X5 Pro will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It will be equipped a 6.7-inch QHD+ (3216 x 1440 pixels) screen with technology LTPO 2.0 and Gorilla Glass Victus. On the autonomy side, the smartphone will bet on a 5000mAh battery compatible with the 80 W wired and 50 W fast wireless charging. This is therefore a significant increase over the 4500 mAh and 65 W of its predecessor, the Oppo Find X3 Pro.

So far, you have probably noticed that the smartphone looks identical to the OnePlus 10 Pro, but it is on the photo part that the two smartphones differ. Indeed, the Find X5 Pro will use a triple camera photo setupwith a 50 MP IMX766 main sensor (1/1.56″, f/1.7, 10 bit, 6P lens, FOV 80°), a 50 MP IMX766 ultra wide-angle sensor (1/1.56″, f/2.2, 10 bit) as well as a 13 MP telephoto Samsung S5K3M5 (f/2.4) offering a 2X optical zoom.

This year, Oppo has therefore chosen to abandon its macro sensor, which nevertheless made the Find X3 Pro different from the competition. The selfie part will always be managed by a 32 MP sensor. In addition to the partnership with Hasselblad, the photo processing will be provided by a house chip MariSiliconX, supposed to improve the quality of the shots.

Finally, we learn that the smartphone will be certified IP68 for water and dust resistance, that it will be 8.5mm thick and it will weigh 218 grams. We can also mention the presence of the ColorOS 12.1 overlay based on Android 12, a fingerprint sensor under the screen and a single configuration: 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
