Palle al Balzo: the director would not mind making a series based on the film

When I think of Ben Stiller And Vince Vaughn I often find myself smiling as I remember Jump Balls – Dodgeball, the 2004 comedy film made by the director Rawson Marshall Thurber. And the director of the film has revealed in these hours that he would be interested in the realization of a series based on comedy focused on Dodgeball (or Prisoner Ball … or Bollata Ball … in short, whatever you want to call this sport).

A series taken from Palle al Balzo? The director of the film might consider the idea

Interviewed by Deadline, on the occasion of the launch of Red Notice on Netflix today, the director explained to “Never having thought about the possibility of a series taken from the film”, but that, also considering the popularity of Palle al Balzo, “It could actually be fun” make it happen.

I am really proud of Bouncing balls: it’s my first movie and it seems people still enjoy watching it. I would say never say never and it should have the right approach. But… yes, maybe.

Obviously this is simple talk from a promotional tour, and we are therefore far from being able to say that a series inspired by Palle al Balzo is in the pipeline. Yet, the more I think about it, the more it seems to me an idea not as absurd as other projects or reboots announced in recent times.

Will he catch the ball on the fly? What do you think about it? Let us know via a comment below!
