The fintech, Qonto, has reached the figure of 100,000 companies created in the four markets in which it operates (France, Spain, Germany and Italy).
After the approval of the Law Create and Growdigital operators were allowed to enter this process and Qonto positioned itself as the first and only neobank in Spain to offer this service fully digitized. Until that date, starting a business in Spain meant a cost of €2,580 in bureaucratic obstacles and 12.5 days for Spanish entrepreneurs, 36% more than the European Union average.

Free events that seek to inspire and train future entrepreneurs
In this commitment that the company is carrying out to increase the incorporation of companies in Spain, it has organized a series of free events in Madrid and Barcelona, which can also be followed by streaming. In them, they seek to solve the main doubts that those who are considering embarking on the adventure of undertaking have. In the first two sessions, a total of 980 people have already attended.
The last one, with the title of creatorsday, has taken place in Madrid and counted with the presence of reference entrepreneurs in different themes who have explained what their experience has been like along the way. During the round table, everyone concluded that the path being followed in Spain to promote business creation is the right one, although they agreed that there is still a long way to go compared to other countries, which make it as easy as possible to create a company. They also pointed out that there are four cities in Spain that are making a strong commitment to the entrepreneurial ecosystem: Valencia, Malaga, Madrid and Barcelona, and this is undoubtedly a fundamental boost.
On the other hand, the speakers agreed that the main obstacles that Spain has as a country to undertake They are the quotas for the self-employed, since in other countries they are more lax and there is a lack of entrepreneurial culture; The entrepreneur feels alone when he starts his project because there is a lot of ignorance and, above all, fear of what he supposes.
