SAP appoints Félix Monedero as its new general manager for Spain

SAP today announced the appointment of Felix Purse as general director of SAP Spain in substitution of Raphael Brugniniwho has been promoted to Head of Partner Ecosystems in southern EMEA, a position from which he will lead the new organization of the partner ecosystem, created worldwide to promote its role in the Cloud strategy, and which will bring together resellers, integrators, consultants, OEMs and hyperscalers.

In a statement, SAP has explained that Félix Monedero will lead in Spain the new strategic positioning of the company in the Cloud field, promoting and facilitating the transition of companies towards that environment to address their digital transformation with the offer of software solutions and services Cloud.

Monedero will be responsible for a business of about 10,000 customersof which 80% are SMEs, an ecosystem made up of 130 partners and 13,500 consultants, and a workforce of nearly 850 employees.

Until now, Félix Monedero was Vice President of Industries at SAP Spain, a position from which he directed one of the company’s largest and most specialized commercial areas. He knows the organization, its offer and the needs of its clients in depth, since he has developed the last 9 years of his career in SAP. Throughout that time he has led the commercial area of ​​the company’s strategic sectors such as Retail, Financial Services, Energy & Natural Resources or Public Services and the Operations area.

The new CEO of SAP Spain has nearly 30 years of experience in companies in the Information Technology and Financial sectors such as Altran, Soluziona, Winterthur or Oracle, where he was director of the Mediterranean region. He is a Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and PDD from IESE.
