The first official Italian trailer of Scream, the highly anticipated fifth chapter of the horror saga created by Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson.
With Halloween just around the corner, we have the right atmosphere to meet Sidney Prescott, Gale Weathers and Dewey Riley (played respectively by Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox And David Arquette) main survivors of the first four films.

The new Scream is set years after the events of the first film of the 1996 saga, with the return of Ghostface and a new series of heinous and ferocious murders involving the three protagonists mentioned above.
This film, in fact, is not a reboot and even if the title is not accompanied by the number 5 as one might expect, given that the spirit of the creators of the saga (orphans of Wes Craven who died in 2015) is to reinvent the franchise presenting it to an audience of new fans in order to make it as long-lived as possible after the disappointing results obtained by the fourth film released in 2011.
Courtney Cox, veteran of the saga, underlined in an interview how this film is a real relaunch of the saga:
This is the fifth film but it’s not Scream 5. It’s just Scream. The directors are amazing… it’s a new franchise. It’s trendy. It’s scary.
It’s not a reboot, it’s not a remake, it’s just a brand new relaunch. I think it will be great.
Scream will arrive in Italian cinemas on January 13, 2022, one day before its debut in the stars and stripes.
