so you can try the rival of ChatGPT from Spain

All the Internet giants are working on their own Artificial Intelligences. After the arrival of ChatGPT 4, and its way of revolutionizing the way of interacting with this AI, big tech companies like Microsoft are also working on launching their own alternatives so that users can start using them as soon as possible. Bing Chat is already a reality that all Windows 11 users can use from the OS itself. And now the turn is coming to Google, who already has his new AI-based assistant ready: Bard.

Google presented Bard a few months ago at a shareholders’ meeting, although its results were not as expected and it made some serious mistakes that generated great losses for the company. However, she did not give up and continued working on her new Artificial Intelligence assistant and debugging these small errors to achieve a rival not only on a par with Bing Chat, but even better than the original ChatGPT itself.

Bard is still a bit green, so Google hasn’t made it available to everyone. However, after a long wait, the most impatient users can finally sign up to try this new Artificial Intelligence as soon as possible, which will probably revolutionize our day to day. We explain how.

How to taste Bard from Spain

At the moment, Google only allows users in the United States and the United Kingdom to test its new Artificial Intelligence before it reaches the rest of the world. That is why users from other countries, including Spain, will not be able to sign up to try this new AI. Unless we hide our location.

Sign us up to use Bard.

If we try to sign up from the previous link, we will see a message indicating that the personal assistant is not available in our country. Also, if we are under 18 years old, or have a Google Workspace account, we will also see an error message that will prevent us from signing up to use this Artificial Intelligence. These last two options are surely due to privacy and data protection issues.

If we want to try from Spain, what we must do is connect from a VPN that makes Google think that we are entering from the United States or the United Kingdom. Otherwise, we will see the message that we have indicated previously. We can use, for example, the UrbanVPN extension of Google Chrome to easily connect to a server in these countries.

Once inside the VPN we will see a message that will explain what Bard consists of, and it will show us a button from which we can sign up for the waiting list. We sign up and that’s it. Now all that remains is to wait for Google to have a place within its AI to start testing the new Bard assistant. The giant does not provide any estimated waiting time, so we cannot know how long it will take.
