SteelSeries Aerox 3 and Aerox 3 Wireless, lighter and more colorful than ever

Renewing one of its most successful gaming mouse lines, SteelSeries has presented the new versions of the Aerox 3, including a second variant with wireless connectivity, designed for ultra-light performance and optimized to maintain top-level speed and precision.

Starting with the basic model, the SteelSeries Aerox 3 (2022) comes under an ultralight weight of just 59 grams, specifically designed to offer a fast and effortless gaming experience. Smooth 100% virgin grade PTFE sliding skates provide improved control and speed, while the super soft USB-C mesh cable provides less resistance and freedom of movement.

Although that’s not all. Low its perforated housing with honeycomb motif, we’ll meet next generation Golden Micro IP54 switches, rated for 80 million clicks (three times the durability found in other gaming mice), along with an 8,500 DPI TrueMove Core optical gaming sensor, and the presence of three independent zones with RGB lighting. In addition, the entire silhouette of the Aerox 3 is bathed in an AquaBarrier finish, making it the first gaming mouse to receive an IP54 water resistance rating.

As soon as to the SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless (2022)As its name suggests, it is nothing more than a wireless version of its namesake. And it is that with a dual connectivity in 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth modes, this mouse will offer us up to 200 hours of continuous wireless gaming, with the only change of adding a little weight to barely reach 68 grams, staying in the ultralight category.

So, again we will meet again with the use of next generation Golden Micro IP54 switches, in this case backed by Quantum 2.0 Dual Wireless technology, that will provide us with a stable and reliable signal at all times. In the same way, we will find again some 100% virgin grade PTFE sliding skates, as well as the AquaBarrier finish with IP54 water resistance, and its three RGB lighting zones.

However, we will see a small change inside, equipping this time a TrueMove Air optical sensor, which guarantees pixel perfect tracking, increasing its sensitivity up to 18,000 DPI.

Currently we can already find the reissues of both mice available in the Snow or Onyx colors (white or black), at a price of 69.99 euros for the analog model, and 109.99 euros for the wireless mouse.
