StudentFinance has signed Tiago Santos as Director of Careers and Talentwith the aim of catalyzing the transformation of the company from a financing company to a professional mobility platform.
Its mission will be to become the essential bridge that unites students with companies, promoting synergies that promote employability and that respond to the demands of the labor market. for qualified profiles in emerging areas of specialization.
With more than 15 years of experience, Santos began his professional career at Deloitte, in 2007, as a financial auditor and, since then, has collaborated with more than 2,000 companies. Between 2010 and 2018 he was linked to two large talent management companies, Page Group and Talent Search Peoplewhere he especially highlighted his work in consulting for the selection of professionals -especially technological- and attracting foreign investment for technological hubs in Spain.
Santos has also been the founder of the international employment portal Europe Language Jobs and co-founder of the Association of Tech Talent of Spain (Asottech) that brings together 16 of the main technological schools in the country, as well as the HR Community and the HR Club that unite more than 3,000 human resources professionals and more than 800 managers in unique events and experiences, which earned him recognition as the number one human resources influencer in Spain.
Likewise, he also works as a professor and collaborator in renowned business schools such as ESERP, EADA and the University of Barcelona. Prior to his incorporation into StudentFinance, Santos held the position of Ironhack CEOone of the most relevant technological bootcamps in the European market.
In his new professional stage, will be dedicated to supporting reskilling and upskilling in the sectors with the highest demand through information based on career choice, flexible financing and connection with educational programs and employers. The creation of this new infrastructure will facilitate the insertion of students in the world of work, as well as the processes with the associated schools.
