
Telefonica Tech and Oracle have reached a agreement to offer cloud services to its customers. Both will offer, under the same, PaaS (Platform as a Service) and applications to both companies and public organizations. The services offered will be provided through a global collaboration, which will allow Telefónica Tech to offer Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services and customer support, through professional and managed services.
With this agreement, Telefónica will host the future Oracle cloud region in Madrid in its infrastructures. The region aims to offer Spanish customers, in addition to a set of cloud services with low latency and high performance. All with high security standards.
With this region, customers who access it will have more facilities to meet their data residency requirements in national territory, as well as to comply with different regulations. Oracle’s cloud region in Madrid is the first that the company has opened in Spain, and one of the seven new ones that it will launch in the EMEA, Asia-Pacific and Latin America regions in the next six months.
Telefónica Tech has a broad portfolio of managed and professional cloud services. This includes both IaaS and PaaS services, allowing you to provide customized solutions to your customers. For its part, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) offers cloud infrastructure for mission-critical and cloud-native workloads for companies and organizations.
