It was one of the revelation series of last year, so many of us expected to know when Carmy would return with her usual stress in the kitchen. Indeed, we are talking about The Bear, the brilliant production about a chef and his day to day in the kitchen of a fast food restaurant, which returns this year with its season 2 to everyone’s delight. Of course, the wait is still going to be a little longer than expected. And it is that although its premiere has already been announced in the US, in Spain we still have to wait until August. What is the reason for this delay according to the market?
The Bear and the devilish rhythm of a kitchen
I admit that I am one of those who took a long time to give this proposal a chance. Despite having heard very good reviews, I thought that it would be the novelty of the moment and that I would surely not be surprised at all. How wrong was I. The Bear was a real breath of fresh air last year, showing me that you can still make great, original products on TV without feeling like it’s all made up.
Do not believe with this that the series supposes something revolutionary, It is not that either. But it does move away from the crowd a bit, proposing a very dynamic, certainly stressful (it perfectly conveys that nerve that is experienced in kitchens), with dialogues scathing and good interpretations – Its protagonist, Jeremy Allen White, walks in a state of grace and this is how he was recognized at the last Golden Globes, among other awards received.
With a duration per episode that does not exceed 45 minutes in the most special cases, the. episodes of its season 1 left us with a fantastic taste in our mouths and a tremendous desire to know how things were going to go now for carmy following the decision to remodel his brother’s restaurant. To verify this, unfortunately, we are going to have to wait a little longer than we thought in Spain.
Already available in the US, waiting in Spain
The second season of The Bear It consists of 10 chapters and from today you can see it in hulu. This could make you think that its arrival in Spain, through Disney+, was a matter of hours, however, and despite belonging to the same conglomerate, its premiere in our country will not take place until August.
The reason is that the launches that occur on platforms such as the FX or Hulu channel are not usually considered “priority” and Disney therefore does not consider them a core part of its catalog in our market, they explain in The vanguard. Therefore, its programming is planned in a more leisurely manner, despite the applause that this series has been and the damage it entails for fans – who could eat more than one in these two months spoiler.
There is no other choice, therefore, than to wait and wait until August 16, the date scheduled for its arrival in the catalog of Disney+. Carmy’s stories with the remodeling and opening of the revamped sandwich shop are going to have to wait a little longer.
