During a live stream event this morning, Netflix released the first trailer for Stone Ocean, the sixth part of the anime adaptation of the manga Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure from Hirohiko Araki.
The spread of the promotional video was also accompanied by the announcement of the month of release of the new episodes, the publication of a new key visual as well as new details on the cast and staff of the anime.
When does Stone Ocean come out?
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure 6: Stone Ocean will debut exclusively streaming on Netflix in December 2021 in all countries where the service is active. Subsequently, in January 20222, it will then air on television in Japan on Tokyo MX, MBS and BS11.
The narrative arc Stone Ocean, published from 1999 to 2003 for a total of 17 volumes (from 64 to 80), represents the sixth part of Araki’s original manga and continues the story of the previous chapters of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, a work that is published in our country from Star Comics.

As recalled by ANN, David Production returns to produce the anime after making the adaptations of the first five chapters of the work.
Yasuko Kobayashi is working on the composition of the series again, while a Masanori Shino (Black Lagoon, No Guns Life) character design is entrusted with Shun’ichi Ishimoto (Jojo – Golden Wind) who is the stand designer.
Yoshikazu Iwanami returns as sound director e Yugo Kanno (Jojo parts 3-5) is composing the soundtrack.
