The Digital Kit program has already launched more than 107,000 grants, according to official data

The aid of the Digital Kit programgranted by Red.es, amount to 107,000 in eight months, which is equivalent to more than 660 million euros from the Recovery Plan, from Next Generation EU funds, in the hands of small companies, micro-enterprises and the self-employed in this country with the aim of promoting the digitization of their businesses .

The most demanded aid program in the history of Spain

In March 2021, the first call for aid from the Digital Kit Program was opened and the first concessions arrived just one month after the opening of applications. From that moment, until now, it has achieved historical figures in an aid Program: more than 107,000 aids granted and more than 670 million euros distributed to SMEs for their digitization.

Red.es have launched three calls in just eight months and they are currently active in parallel allowing all those companies with less than 50 employees and that meet the required requirements to apply for aid.

The first call is addressed to companies with between 10 and less than 50 employees, The amount of the aid is 12,000 euros and the deadline for submitting applications will be open until March 15, 2023. The second call is aimed at companies with between three and less than 10 employees, the amount of the aid is 6,000 euros and the deadline to request it will be active until September 2, 2023. For its part, the third call, with a grant of 2,000 euros, is focused on companies with between 0 and less than 3 employees and will remain open until September 20. October 2023.

The beneficiary companies will be able to use the aid in a catalog made up of up to 12 solutions: website and Internet presence, management of social networks, electronic commerce; customer management; virtual office services and tools, business intelligence and analytics, process management, electronic invoicing, secure communications, cybersecurity, and the two new digitization solutions that were added with the modification of the order of bases in July 2022: advanced presence in internet and marketplace.

Positive evaluation by the beneficiaries

According to a satisfaction survey carried out by Red.es among a sample of 3,706 companies, 79% of those surveyed consider the Program’s website useful and very useful. This same perception is held by 78% of the companies contacted regarding the completion of the application form. 71% consider that the information received during the processing process has been adequate or very adequate. 77% rated the use of the platform to formalize agreements as useful and very useful.

The term for granting the aid is less than 30 days

Under the slogan “zero paperwork”, Red.es has designed a highly innovative processing system using robotization tools and automated Artificial Intelligence that reduces the bureaucratic burden, reduces the number of documents to present and shortens the concession terms. Currently, if the request is successful, the concession period is less than 30 days.

The company may request the aid without providing any documentation. It will be enough for the employer to authorize Red.es to consult ex officio the requirements and obligations required to obtain the status of beneficiary, safeguarding transparency and legal certainty.

In addition, in order to facilitate access to aid as much as possible, the figure of the “volunteer representative” has been enabled, that is, any third party, whether a natural or legal person, duly authorized, can request aid on behalf of the company. .

98% of affiliated digitization agents are small companies

Currently, the catalog of digitizing agents is made up of about 10,000 adhered agents of which 98% are small businesses. ICT SMEs have been given a leading role to ensure that digitization is maintained over time and improve the productivity of beneficiaries and digitizing agents. Right now, 4,800 agents have signed agreements with beneficiary companies, of which around 70% are small companies.

The membership period for digitizing agents will continue to be open throughout the duration of the Program, so the catalog will be expanded as the requests are resolved.

Digitization agents are the only ones authorized to sign “digitization solution provision agreements” with the companies that benefit from the aid of the Digital Kit program and holders of the digital voucher, and they will be able to collaborate in the aid application process by also being voluntary representatives. , as well as in the control actions that derive from them.

In addition, they will be the ones who present all the supporting documentation and the ones who receive the payment of the digital voucher assigned by the beneficiary, once their justification has been accepted.
