Some French people still live without a smartphone or the Internet

According to an INSEE survey, 7% of the French population over 15 does not have Internet access at home and does not have smartphones. France is therefore still subject to the digital divide, although we are in one of the European countries where Internet access is the most widespread and the least expensive. The smartphone penetration rate is 90%, while only 78% of French people have residential Internet access.

Huawei has just launched its first flip smartphone in France, the P50 Pocket. On the program, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, a 4000 mAh battery, a 6.9-inch OLED screen and a photo part worthy of a traditional high-end smartphone. Its particularity: a small 1-inch circular screen on the back capable of displaying different information when the smartphone is closed.
