Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the end of a stage
Those of us who have been following the UCM movies for (quite a few) years have a new appointment to say goodbye on May 4th. That day it opens Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (in Spain, in the US it will be a day later) and with this it becomes full stop to a great saga with one of the most choral casts in the franchise.
It is true that the hooligans of the guardians have a rather peculiar humor and may not be the ones that offer us the most “epic” adventures, such as those of Captain America or Iron Man, but this peculiar gang has managed to win over time the hearts of fans, making a place for himself among the most charismatic and, above all, fun characters.
Directed by James Gunn, with volume 3 a story that ensures that it is “tough and emotional” will close. So says his synopsis: Our beloved band of misfits are getting used to living in Knowhere, but it isn’t long before their lives are upended by echoes of Rocket’s troubled past. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must assemble his team and embark on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life – a mission that, if failed, could spell the end of the Guardians as we know them. . »
First reviews of the film
They say that Gunn has been working on the final story of the Guardians for years to give them the epic outcome it deserves and, judging by the first reviews released, he has succeeded.
Ian Sandwellpublisher of DigitalSpy, He acknowledges that it is “a brilliant ending to a brilliant trilogy. Is very funny, emotional and everyone has their highlight. Will Poulter’s Warlock is an excellent addition, but the focus is on telling a satisfying ending for the Guardians.” alexander kardeloof moviezine, he notes that there are “lovable weirdos, great Marvel action, and silly jokes. But nothing can prepare you for all emotions. Rocket Raccoon’s origin story is both beautiful and heartbreaking.”
Be careful because despite the laughter, it will be an intense tape or so it assures markus trutt from the middle German, Filsmarts, indicating that “it is probably the saddest and darkest MCU movie and a wonderfully rounded conclusion to Gunn’s trilogy, where everyone in the fight against an evil (but rather shallow) villain once again has their big moment. Have tissues ready!”
Can’t wait for it to be released either?
