The official presentation of the iPhone 15 is coming soon. Indeed, Apple has just sent the first invitations to the press for its next keynote. The date is set for September 12, 2023.
The wait before officially discovering the iPhone 15 will soon come to an end. Indeed, Apple has just sent out the first press invitations for its next keynote, as revealed by Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman on X.
Thus, the apple brand gives an appointment to the fans September 12, 2023 for a new conference centered around the latest generation of iPhone and Apple Watch. This new “ceremony” has been baptized “Wonderlust” by the American manufacturer, which can be translated in the language of Molière as a “want to be amazed”. The presentation will of course be broadcast online at 7 p.m. Paris time.

We will know everything about the iPhone 15 on September 12, 2023
The event will take place in the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park. As you will have understood, this keynote will above all be the opportunity to finally discover the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. From what we know for the moment, the two entry-level models should benefit from certain features present on the Premium versions of the iPhone 14, starting with the Bionic A16 house chip, the Dynamic Island interface and a 48 MP sensor on the back.
Inevitably, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max (or Pro Ultra, the nomenclature is still open to discussion) will have new and substantial improvements, such as a redesigned titanium frame, integration of the Bionic A17 chip engraved in 3 nm and the presence of a new customizable action button in place of the mute button.
USB-C, Apple Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2
In addition, this keynote will allow us to finally have an answer on a key point: will the iPhone 15 indeed abandon the Lightning port for a USB-C port, in accordance with the latest European requirements? Recent leaks have confirmed this and revealed photos of the device equipped with a USB-C port.
Apple should also take advantage of this conference to lift the veil on the Apple Watch Series 9, its new generation of connected watches. A possible Apple Watch Ultra 2 could also make its world premiere on September 12. Indeed, Mark Gurman already claimed in June 2023 the presentation of an updated version of Apple’s upcoming high-end smartwatch.
