The popular streaming video-on-demand platform, Netflix, at the moment it is not going through its best time. In fact, in many countries they are losing subscriptions that number in the millions.
There are several reasons why a large number of regular users of the platform are currently making the decision to cancel your subscription. Perhaps the trigger has been the blocking function to share accounts outside of the same location. However, Netflix has been receiving significant criticism from a large part of its regulars for some time now. To all this, we can add the appearance of other similar and interesting proposals that may be more attractive to many.
In this way, millions of people around the globe are migrating from Netflix to other video streaming services, something that of course the top managers of the big N company do not like at all. These should reconsider some very important points that they demand many of the users who have abandoned the platform and of which we are going to talk about below.
By this we mean that we are going to mention some of the changes that a large part of the users who have turned their backs on Netflix are demanding the most. This does not mean that in the future the situation can be reconsidered and your account can be reactivated, as long as those responsible take into account certain measures to improve service in general terms.
What Netflix must do to win back customers
Those responsible for this streaming platform must adapt to the times in order to compete face to face with the rest of the similar services. These are some of the changes most requested by those who have abandoned the online service.
- Lower prices: the price of some modalities to which we can subscribe at this moment on Netflix, are currently off the market. There are other very similar platforms that are more affordable and with similar options. For example, the most expensive subscription goes to 18 euros, and without being able to share an account outside of the same location.
- Eliminate the block to share accounts: one of the main causes of this massive migration of subscribers has been due to the block in the competition of accounts. It is possible that those responsible for Netflix should reconsider the situation, or at least reach an intermediate point so that part of them could resume their subscription.
- Finalize their productions: another of the complaints that have been occurring on the platform in recent months is the disappearance of unfinished series. Also, some of these titles were having success and acceptance among millions, but it was decided not to go ahead with new seasons. A clear example of this can be seen in the intriguing 1899 series that came from the hand of the creators of Dark.
- Higher quality of its contents: many of its competitors are launching their own highly successful productions. However, Netflix in this sense has lagged a bit behind, something that many of its subscribers, both current and old, blame it for.
