Veeam appoints Santiago Campuzano as the new Country Manager of Iberia

Veeam today announced the appointment of Santiago Campuzano as the new Country Manager of Iberia. In his new role, Campuzano will support Veeam’s strong presence in Iberia and accelerate growth in the region with a specific focus on large accounts. Campuzano will report directly to Patrick Rohrbasser, Regional Vice President for Southern Europe and Africa.

Campuzano joins Veeam from Citrix, where he was regional director for over a decade, most recently leading EMEA partnerships with hyperscalers including Microsoft, Google Cloud Platform and AWS. With more than ten years of experience helping organizations, both public and private, to evolve the digital workplace and leading the change of companies towards new competitive environments based on digital transformation, he has extensive experience derived from his work in digitally driven companies.

His sales and marketing approach, with a holistic view of the business and special expertise in enterprise IT will help drive our growth and consolidate our leadership position within iberia, addressing the needs of Modern Data Protection for cloud workloads, virtual, physical, enterprise and Kubernetes,” said Patrick Rohrbasser, Regional Vice President for Southern Europe and Africa.

Santiago Campuzano has a degree in Financial Management, Business Administration and Marketing and a Master’s in Financial Management, both from ESIC, where he has also been a professor for 17 years and has been part of the executive. In addition to his experience at Citrix, Compuzano’s professional career includes work at companies in the technology sector such as Sage, where he held the position of Channel Sales Manager, being able to establish a new sales channel structure for the brand; as well as a new channel policy between partners, retailers and distributors, fulfilling objectives and leading a business development team.
