VU appoints Néstor Serravalle as new Vice President for Europe

VU, the cybersecurity company specialized in the prevention of fraud and the protection of the user’s identity and whose landing in Spain we echoed a few months ago, has just announced at a press conference the appointment of Néstor Serravalle as the new Executive Vice President for all of Europe.

The manager will combine this new responsibility with his position to date as Chief Sales Officer at a global level. From this role he has been in charge of deepening the strategy and commercial management of VU to expand its market share.

Serravalle also has an extensive career spanning more than thirty years in the technology and information systems industry, working for top-tier companies such as Microsoft, Technisys, Tata Consultancy Services, SAP and Hewlett Packard. There he formed solid teams, leading projects with great social and business impact for each company.

To continue with this progress, VU also has the support of Globant and Telefonica Techthe digital business unit of Telephone. Together with Telefónica, at the beginning of 2022 VU signed a collaboration agreement to launch the global Access & Authentication service to protect organizations from theft or misuse of corporate credentials through Zero-Trust mechanisms based on adaptive Multiple-Factor Authentication and biometric facial and voice recognition systems.

In addition, VU recently launched Authentication Management SaaSa new solution to protect organizations from theft or misuse of corporate credentials through Zero Trust mechanisms, a security model based on MFA (multiple factor authentication).

With the aim of guaranteeing that only the authorized user connects to critical company applications or infrastructure, this cloud service offers an extra layer of security in the authentication processes, while simplifying them through its authentication capabilities. Single sign-on and identity federation: Authenticates users across multiple corporate applications and systems in a single step, improves the user experience, and increases employee productivity.
