WatchGuard has a dual goal: to simplify access to its portfolio of security products and to grow brand recognition. For this, the company has just announced the creation of WatchGuard for Soc. Under this new umbrella, the company has explained that all the products and services that until now were marketed under the name WatchGuard-Cytomic. Additionally, these solutions will be progressively integrated into the WatchGuard Unified Security Platform.
The main advantage for customers, partners and managed security service providers (MSSP) is that from now on they will have access through a single platform to all network security, endpoint, identity management and security solutions. Wi-Fi, as well as numerous functionalities that offer end-to-end security, shared knowledge, operational alignment, automation, visibility, clarity and control that the company has.
In this way, companies that wish to do so will have it much easier when it comes to managing a zero-trust security approach and XDR security services for the early detection and response to all types of threats. As Miguel Carrero, VP, Security Service Providers & Strategic Accounts at WatchGuard, explained at a press conference, thanks to WatchGuard for SOC “managed security service providers can meet the growing demand for advanced protection from their customers, allowing SOCs want to speed up processes, be more efficient and have proactive intelligence in their operations to protect, detect and respond to unknown and sophisticated cyber threats.”
On the other hand, the manager has also explained that the size of the MSSP world market is expected to exceed $22.8 billion in 2021 to $43.7 billion in 2026, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.9% during this time period. It is precisely here where the company hopes to obtain its greatest growth in the same way, counting on its ecosystem of partners, both in Spain and internationally.
