Good news for those who were waiting for a new mid-range smartphone with a competitive price-quality ratio, Xiaomi is about to launch its Poco F5 and F5 Pro, and just before their release, we already know their prices.

Tomorrow, Tuesday May 9, 2023, Xiaomi will officially unveil its Poco F5 and F5 Pro. Given the significant success of their predecessors, the Poco F4 and F4 GT, the new models are highly anticipated at the turn, especially with regard to their prices. Xiaomi has significantly raised prices on its high-end smartphones this year, but promised on social media that the Pocos had not suffered such increases.

This is exactly what leaker @Sudhanshu1414 confirms on Twitter, revealing the prices of all the new models. To everyone’s surprise, rather than increasing its prices as most manufacturers have done this year, Xiaomi has returned its Poco F5 and F5 Pro more affordable than their predecessors.

What prices for the Poco F5 and F5 Pro?

According to @Sudhanshu1414, the Poco F5 will be marketed from 429 euros in its version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It’s 20 euros less than the previous Poco F4, which came out at 449 euros with this configuration. However, note that Xiaomi offered a more affordable version last year at 399 euros with only 128 GB of RAM, but this is not the case with this new generation. A Poco F5 with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is also planned for 479 euros.

As for the Pro model, you have to wait for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage at 579 euros, again 20 euros less than the Poco F4 GT. The version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage will be offered at 629 euros.

The good news is that if you are among the first buyers, you will benefit as always from a preferential rate. The Poco F5 will be available from just 379 euros, a reduction of 50 euros on the model with the least RAM, and 399 euros for the one with 12 GB of RAM. The same is true for the Poco F5 Pro, which will be marketed at 479 euros or 499 euros depending on the configuration chosen.
