As Xiaomi prepares to launch its own OS, a new editor is appearing in Google Photos. The lack of staff at the Gigafactory in Berlin is causing a severe drop in Model Y production. Windows 11: You’ll soon be able to get rid of preinstalled apps

As you know, Windows 11 comes with lots of software pre-installed, and some of them are surely unnecessary for you. Good news, Microsoft is finally about to allow you to uninstall unwanted applications that you do not need, such as Contact, Photos, Weather or News. What to expect with Pinky counters?

Enedis is about to deploy 5,000 Pinky electricity meters, Linky’s cousin. The purpose of these new meters is to optimize the energy consumption of cities thanks to new readings every 10 minutes which will notably enable Enedis to anticipate any breakdowns by detecting anomalies.

Xiaomi is preparing its own operating system

If we are to believe the leaker @That_Kartikey, Xiaomi is secretly preparing to launch its own operating system, dubbed Mios. Before landing on different devices, including our smartphones, Mios should first be deployed in the Chinese manufacturer’s connected electric cars.

A new editor in Google Photos

Google Photos users will be delighted to discover the new editor available on the web version of the software, in the “edit” menu. Now it’s easier than ever to edit your shots. Please note that some options are only available to Google One subscribers.

Model Y production down in Berlin

While the Berlin Gigafactory aimed to produce 5,000 Model Ys per week, our German colleagues from Business Insider reveal that production has dropped dramatically in just a few months. Indeed, only 4000 copies would be manufactured per week. It is the lack of manpower within the Berlin factory which would explain this severe drop in production.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6: beautiful and large Amoled screens but a still rising price

Samsung offers 4 models of watches here, customizable both in terms of straps and dials. We love their large and bright AMOLED screens, the quality of health and sports monitoring, and the particularly well-developed communication functions. Unfortunately the price of these connected watches is still rising. We regret that the autonomy is still a bit tight and that some applications are only compatible with a Galaxy phone.
