Microsoft had promised a release in the first half of 2023, but given the magnitude of the task, Starfield had to be postponed until the start of the school year. This time it’s the right one! The Redmond firm has even planned to reveal a little more very soon.
Starfield will be revealed at length in June
Microsoft, the owner of Bethesda, has indeed announced the holding of a Starfield Direct on June 11. This online conference will aim to show us a little more gameplay and features that are still unknown. Moreover, we can see some interesting sequences in the announcement video.

Starfield is the excessive project par excellence. Announced in 2018, it must install a flagship franchise in the world of video games, becoming the reference title in the field for years to come, like what Skyrim had been in its time. Like previous Bethesda, it will be an open-world role-playing game. This time, the player will be propelled into the future and will be able to visit hundreds and hundreds of modeled planets. The promises are immense, since the studio assures us that we will have a game of exploration, shooting, space combat and construction at the same time. All of that is what we’ve seen before, but there’s no doubt that Bethesda has more under its belt. In any case, the first testers speak of a real revolution in video games.
As a reminder, Starfield will be exclusive to Game Pass. It will therefore be released on PC, on Xbox and in the Cloud, but not on PS5. A heavy weapon in the console wars. After release, Bethesda will get to work on its other highly anticipated project: The Elder Scrolls VI.
