In the early morning, the investigators therefore go to the site, and as much to say that the explanation provided is rather amazing. “The jammer had been installed by the father of the family to prevent his teenagers from accessing the Internet with their smartphone instead of falling asleep! His children had indeed become addicted to social networks and other applications, in particular since the confinement imposed due to the epidemic of Covid-19″, specifies the ANFR in its article.
A rather radical solution, you will agree, especially since the father of the family was far from imagining that he was disrupting all the telephony and mobile internet in his town and the neighboring town! After paying the ANFR an intervention tax of 450 €, the man risks a criminal penalty of up to 6 months in prison and a fine of €30,000.
