Another foldable is on the way, and it’s from OnePlus

OnePlus V Fold

What at first began as a somewhat prohibitive fashion and of dubious durability, has ended up becoming something highly desired by many users, and which, thanks to the operators and many offers, many manage to get at a good price. Well, after the proposals of Samsung, Huawei, Oppo and Motorola, it seems that we have to add a new member in the world of folding: OnePlus.

The OnePlus V Fold

Thanks to some images leaked by the twitter OnLeaks and the middle SmartprixNow we know exactly what OnePlus’ folding screen phone will look like, as the shared images show a full-frame phone with a book-style opening, that is, it would go from a phone size to one closer to a tablet.

The first impression that these supposedly official images leave us is that we are dealing with a fairly high-quality terminal with very well-finished finishes that seek not to increase the thickness of the device too much. In addition to the folding screen, the device does not seem to skimp on features, and on the photographic side we can see three rear cameras with the presence of a periscope with optical zoom.

A device with all the potential

When a brand launches a folding phone, it usually bets with everything. And in the case of OnePlus it seems that it will follow the same trend, since the device is expected to have a processor Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2, in addition to the fact that the screen will be AMOLED with 2K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Almost nothing.

At the moment they are the first features that are playing, but unfortunately there is nothing confirmed to this day. We will have to continue waiting for the first official communication from the manufacturer to be able to clear up doubts.

It seems that at the battery level it will include one with a capacity of 4,800mAh, which is not bad, although it must be taken into account that the terminal has a screen that is around 8 inches with 2K resolution, and a second external screen that may be around 6 inches. Lots of pixels to light, so we’ll see how it performs.

When it will be for sale?

The published images are part of a fairly advanced leak, since the device is not expected to hit stores until the third quarter of the year. This could well be next month, but we could also be talking about September, so at the moment there are many doubts about a prompt appearance.

We have no choice but to continue waiting, although something tells us that the month of September will be the month chosen to bring such a terminal to light.
