Apple Music is finally coming to Xbox Series X/S

After landing on Playstation 5 in October 2021, it took a year for Apple Music to deign to arrive on Xbox Series X and Series S, Microsoft’s latest consoles. Indeed, the music streaming application is available on the Microsoft Store in the United States. For now, we will have to wait a little longer to enjoy it in France.

From year to year, Apple Music improves its formula in order to always attract consumers, and especially to divert it from its main competitor, a certain Spotify. We learned in April 2022 that Apple Music would benefit from additional features thanks to iOS 16, the latest version of the Apple brand’s OS. In particular, it will be possible add artists to your favoriteswhich will allow Apple to improve the recommendation system of Apple Music.

But that’s not all, remember, at the end of October 2021, Apple Music also landed on Playstation 5. In fact, users have since then had another alternative to Spotify. Remember that the integration of the application occurred at the same time as the partnership signed between the manufacturer and Apple for the launch of Apple TV +. For the occasion, players could claim six months of free subscription.

And on Xbox? Well, Xbox Series X and Series S owners are still waiting to try Apple Music on their next-gen console. However, that wait may soon be coming to an end. Indeed, the journalist and renowned insider Tom Warren has just announced on Twitter the availability of the Apple Music application on the Microsoft Store and on the Xbox store.

As well as offering a widescreen version of your music library, the app also lets you play your favorite tracks in the background. In fact, you are free to try the many games in the Xbox Game Pass catalog while listening to the complete [artiste de votre choix]. On the other hand, we found that the Apple Music app was still not available in France on the Microsoft Store or on the Xbox store. We hope it’s only a matter of days before we see the service land.
